I am thrilled and honored to be joining Coupang's new office in India. It's an opportunity to be part of a new dynamic and growing environment, contributing my experience and cultural understanding to Coupang’s success. I see myself playing a key role in building strong relationships with local stakeholders in India, fostering a collaborative work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the India office. It is also going to be interesting to work with stakeholders globally to build the future of commerce.
Could you introduce your previous experience?
My career has been a continuous learning experience. I began with Quality Assurance, developing a strong foundation in software development lifecycles and attention to detail. This foundation proved invaluable as I transitioned into program management, allowing me to effectively manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results. I also honed my skills in collaborative program execution and stakeholder management. I consistently delivered results on time and within budget, even amidst tight deadlines and diverse stakeholder needs. This experience instilled in me the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Security TPM at a growing startup, I managed a diverse portfolio of programs, effectively prioritizing initiatives and streamlining security operations, resulting in significant cost reductions. This experience instilled in me the importance of clear communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

How do you manage security related project effectively from India?
I believe in managing security projects with a multi-pronged approach. First, I align initiatives with overarching objectives, ensuring they effectively address critical security needs and support business goals. Clear communication and collaboration are paramount, fostering buy-in from security, engineering, and business stakeholders. I implement effective project management methodologies, utilizing agile or waterfall approaches as appropriate, with well-defined roadmaps, milestones, and risk mitigation plans. Finally, I measure and track progress, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Based on your experience, what advice would you give to candidates from India?
