From placing an order and completing online customs authorization to home delivery, the entire process is intuitive and smooth. Driven by strong customer demand and support, Rocket Overseas has significantly improved delivery times, with some orders arriving in as little as three business days. “This was something I could hardly imagine in the past,” Priscilla shares. “I’m very happy to be part of Coupang and to help create breakthroughs like this.”
Beyond speed, Priscilla is also impressed by Coupang’s commitment to investing in what truly matters. Rocket Overseas’ product selection has expanded from Korea and the U.S. to Japan and Hong Kong. To manage multilingual product information and support rapid product launches, global teams were quickly assembled to implement AI and large language model (LLM) technologies. “When the decision was made to invest in LLMs, the company immediately formed a dedicated team and mobilized global resources to fully support the effort,” Priscilla recalls. This decisiveness and execution speed reflect Coupang’s distinctive global culture, fast, bold, and willing to experiment while continuously refining its approach.
Each Rocket Overseas initiatives must balance globally proven practices with Taiwan-specific regulations and customer trends, often requiring processes to be redesigned from the ground up. Because of Coupang’s continuous innovation, Priscilla experiences a level of challenge and growth similar to that of a startup, even within this large global public company. “Being responsible for cross-border operations feels like running my own company, you make decisions with an entrepreneurial spirit,” she explains.
Priscilla has also observed many colleagues achieve meaningful career breakthroughs at Coupang. Team members have transitioned into merchandising and marketing, eventually becoming independent project owners. Coupang provides trust and opportunity, enabling people to broaden their skills and accelerate their growth through cross-functional experience.
