Hello, my name is Dora. I joined Coupang as a Recruiting Manager in August 2021, right from the beginning of Coupang Taiwan.
What experiences did you have before joining Coupang Taiwan?
Before joining Coupang, I worked for 12+ years in HR & recruiting. This includes experiences as a Headhunter, a Talent Acquisition specialist, and an HR Business Partner.
What is the main role of your team at Coupang Taiwan, what kind of projects do you work on?
The Recruiting team supports Coupang Taiwan by attracting, searching, and retaining talents who have the Coupang DNA. We encourage and inspire candidates to come join and grow with us.
What makes Coupang Taiwan special in your opinion?
I enjoy the start-up spirit at Coupang Taiwan. Everything is new and challenging here. This is very attractive to me because I have always been an inquisitive person and I enjoy taking on new challenges. As a team, we get to solve problems and find solutions.
I also love the opportunity to work with people from several countries as Coupang has global offices. Some of our locations include Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the USA. This naturally fosters a lot of diversity in our workplace. Our Global Recruiting Director once said, “You won’t feel bored at Coupang.” And I have found this to be true, as there is always something new happening.
What are you looking forward to in your current team?
We are excited to build Coupang Taiwan’s employer brand and expand our recruiting organization to help Coupang “Hire and develop the best” in Taiwan. We will continue to engage with our stakeholders for a stronger relationship and offer strategic planning for recruiting.
