In the third quarter of 2025, we focused on three themes that reflect our shared values: environmental sustainability (ESG), personal growth, and career development. Here’s how our community came together to live these values in action.
Small Habits, Big Impact: ESG Environmental Protection Campaign
In September, Coupang Ads Better launched the “ESG Environmental Protection Certification Campaign” under the message “Small habits can save the planet.”
Before launching the campaign, Coupang Ads Better conducted a pre-survey to identify which eco-friendly practices would best fit the organization. From a range of options including taking the stairs, using tumblers, taking public transportation, reducing plastic use, and donating unused items, the team selected the most relevant activities for the campaign. Throughout the month, participants shared and certified their eco-friendly actions, helping to spread a culture of ESG practice within the organization. At the campaign’s conclusion, outstanding participants were recognized for their efforts. More importantly, everyone experienced firsthand how consistent small actions can drive meaningful change both within our workplace and in the world around us.
Meet-up: ‘Being Yourself, Creating Value’
On September 25, more than 200 Coupang Ads members gathered for a special meet-up, ‘Being Yourself, Creating Value.’ The event invited participants to reflect on authenticity, purpose, and how individual values can shape both personal and professional fulfillment.
The first speaker, Amy shared how volunteering became a joyful and energizing part of her life, showing how giving back can renew one’s sense of purpose. Graham spoke about finding creativity and balance through family and reflection, emphasizing the importance of aligning daily choices with personal meaning. Ben discussed how originality and critical thinking are essential in the AI era reminding us that staying true to our own voice is the foundation of innovation and collaboration.
The meet-up became a meaningful moment for team members to pause, listen, and reflect gaining new perspectives on their own values and life paths through one another’s stories.
Sustainable Careers: Stories of Growth
To close the quarter, Coupang Ads Better presented the Sustainable Career Interview Series, highlighting colleagues who have built new career paths within Coupang Ads. Through their stories, the series shared a powerful message that growth begins with small challenges and choices, and that there are many ways to build a meaningful career within Coupang Ads.
Allen grew from an individual contributor to a director leading a new team, emphasizing that “without challenges, there’s no growth. When progress feels slow, take action first.”
Donmin, a sales expert with experience across sellers and advertisers, highlighted Coupang Ads’ data-driven and agile culture as the perfect environment to unlock potential.
Amy took on a new role through an internal transfer, sharing how structured onboarding and clear goals supported her successful transition.
Charlie transitioned from offline sales to advertising, and through continuous learning and action in a new environment, he built his own unique story of growth.
Won has worked with both large and small-to-medium advertisers, gaining broader perspective and deeper professional insight through diverse collaboration.
Together, these stories showcase the diverse ways Coupang Ads employees are shaping their own journeys and redefining what sustainable growth means.
