Role Overview

Coupang Taiwan is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join our Growth Marketing Analytics & Data Science team. This role will support highly visible focus areas which include on-site merchandising, category, and marketing operations. You will partner closely with marketing stakeholders to drive actionable insight, analysis, and reporting. What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with marketing stakeholders to provide actionable insight, analysis, modeling, experimentation and reporting. Deep dive through weblogs and marketing data to identify key drivers of performance
  • Regularly work on requests that support decision-making processes. Prioritize work effectively through a strong understanding of business objectives.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, by delivering results on-time and multi-tasking
  • Build and/or support the integration of machine learning model initiatives
  • Maintain a high bar for quality and accuracy. Provide clear documentation of work and code.
  • Leverage AI to develop solutions that improve productivity, code writing, and quality
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in STEM or quantitative field
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Foundational knowledge of statistical concepts and testing methodologies
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to validate data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English to share analysis results clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in Retail/E-commerce industries, Digital Marketing, Growth or CRM functions
  • Expert in experimentation, statistics, and casual inference techniques
  • Experience in AI and building machine learning models
  • Experience in data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data engineering principles and tools (Airflow, DBT)
  • Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages for advanced data manipulation
  • Experience working in a global or multinational team environment
