Role Overview

  • Support development of data infrastructure, dataset and business intelligence solutions in order to offer a range of data services using data technology

What You Will Do

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics

    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

    • Define, develop, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

    • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.

    Data Engineering & Automation

    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

    • Build scalable and automated data pipelines using SQL and Python.

    • Design data models and support data warehouse initiatives.

    • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across systems.

    Database Management

    • Develop scripts and applications to read, write, update, and manage data within relational databases.

    • Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

    • Support database integration between internal and external systems.

    • Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.

    Reporting & Visualization

    • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.

    • Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting solutions to business teams.

    • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related roles.

    • Advanced SQL skills, including:

      • Complex joins

      • Window functions

      • Stored procedures

      • Query optimization

    • Strong Python programming skills for:

      • Data extraction and transformation

      • Process automation

      • Database integration

      • Data analysis

    • Hands-on experience reading from and writing to databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).

    • Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.

    • Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

    • Knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Airflow.

    • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or Looker.

    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

    • Experience working in large-scale, fast-paced environments.

    • Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

Remuneration (Drafter: This MUST be included in the job posting based on TW law if the monthly salary is below NT$40,000. The monthly salary includes basic salary and monthly payment, such as meal allowances, attendance bonuses and performance bonus, etc., but excluding overtime pay, year-end bonus, travel expense, etc.)
