Director, Cybersecurity Audit & Continuous Assurance

說明

We are seeking an exceptionally qualified, technical, and data-driven Director of Cybersecurity Audit & Continuous Assurance (Technical Program Management) to join our IT Internal Audit leadership team in Seoul, South Korea. Reporting directly to the Head of IT Audit, this role will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise cybersecurity risks and technical audit execution across our high-scale, cloud-native e-commerce platforms.

In an era of hyper-scale e-commerce, traditional periodic auditing alone is insufficient. This leader will lead the execution of our global cybersecurity audit strategy while architecting and scaling an advanced Continuous Cybersecurity Control Monitoring (CCCM) and Automated Assurance Validation framework. By blending deep technical cybersecurity domain expertise with data engineering and analytics capabilities, this role will collaborate with relevant teams to develop methods to enhance identification, measurements, and mitigation of cyber risks across complex, microservice-based engineered systems.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Audit Strategy & Execution

  • Assist in development and execution of the enterprise cybersecurity audit plan, continuously refining audit coverage based on emerging threats, architectural shifts, and global regulatory mandates.

  • Lead technical audits covering cloud security infrastructure, identity and access management (IAM), zero-trust architecture, CI/CD pipelines, container security, network telemetry, and data loss prevention (DLP).

  • Act as the principal SME within IT Internal Audit for security engineering, cryptography, security operations (SOC), threat hunting, and vulnerability management.

  • Partner closely with Information Security, Compliance, Privacy, Cloud Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering leadership to drive proactive risk mitigation and remediate audit findings.

  • Provide clear, data-backed reports and briefings to leadership stakeholders

Continuous Monitoring & Assurance Automation

  • Architect and lead the implementation of a continuous cybersecurity control monitoring strategy

  • Design scripts, queries, and automated testing routines to transition high-risk controls from periodic manual sampling to near-real-time automated validation.

  • Work with key stakeholders to develop custom security control dashboards and risk observability tools using automated log ingestion (SIEM/Data Lake) to detect control drift, anomalies, and policy non-compliance instantly.

  • Establish standardized technical audit methodologies, script repositories, automated testing SOPs, and analytics frameworks for the broader IT Audit function.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a quantitative data field, combined with 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, cyber risk, or technical cybersecurity auditing within large-scale or publicly traded technology/e-commerce organizations.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure), distributed systems, modern API security, microservices, and containerized deployments (Kubernetes/Docker).

  • Deep technical mastery of recognized security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53, ISMS/K-ISMS-P).

  • Based in (or willing to relocate as an expatriate to) Seoul, South Korea.

  • Fluent in English with strong technical communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active professional security credentials such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP.

  • Proven track record auditing or securing hyper-scale e-commerce platforms, payment systems (PCI-DSS), or high-volume transactional microservice environments.

  • Experience utilizing SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Search) or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Athena/Redshift) to write continuous control monitoring queries and automated alert mechanisms.

  • Familiarity leveraging AI/ML tooling or intelligent automation for anomaly detection, evidence extraction, and risk profiling.
