Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within Coupang's Technology organization in Korea.

This role serves as a trusted partner to executives and works closely with teams across Korea and the United States. In addition to executive support responsibilities, the position will help coordinate business operations activities, including vendor management, invoice processing, expense tracking, budget coordination, and administrative support for local business needs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working across different cultures, functions, and time zones. This individual should be proactive, professional, and capable of building strong working relationships with executives, employees, customers, vendors, and external partners.

What You Will Do

  • Provide executive support to senior technology leaders, including complex calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Coordinate meetings across Korea, the United States, and other global locations
  • Manage executive travel arrangements, itineraries, expenses, and visit logistics
  • Partner closely with global Executive Assistants to support leadership meetings, business reviews, and organizational initiatives
  • Provide regional support for executive visits, customer meetings, and leadership events in Korea
  • Support vendor and customer engagement activities, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-up
  • Manage invoices, payment requests, expense reconciliation, budget tracking, and related administrative accounting activities
  • Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of business transactions
  • Support office operations, team events, and leadership offsites
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as needed
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a dependable and proactive professional who enjoys supporting executives, improving processes, and helping teams operate effectively. They will be comfortable working in a global environment, collaborating across cultures and time zones, and serving as a trusted partner to both Korea-based and U.S.-based leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant, Executive Administrator, Business Operations, Office Management, or related experience
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a corporate environment
  • Professional proficiency in both Korean and English, written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Experience coordinating meetings and schedules across multiple time zones
  • Experience managing invoices, expenses, budgets, payments, or other business administration processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executives in a technology company or multinational organization
  • Experience working with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, or vendor management processes
  • Strong Excel skills and experience maintaining budgets and reports
  • Experience coordinating executive visits, customer meetings, and business events
  • Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Copilot, Concur, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail

  1. This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
  2. A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. However, this will not apply where the hiring documents were submitted via the website of the Company or e-mail, or where the job applicant submitted those documents voluntarily without a request from the Company. In addition, if the hiring documents were destroyed due to a natural disaster or any other reasons not attributable to the Company, such documents will be deemed to have been returned to the job applicant.
  3. A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit It by email ([email protected]). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.
  4. In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
