Role Overview

This dual-function role provides critical operational support across both Global Mobility Taiwan (40%) and Global Business Travel (60%). Operating as an individual contributor, you will serve as the primary operational point of contact in Taiwan, managing local vendor relationships, travel logistics, payment processes, and mobility cases. You will split your time between managing mobility compliance and providing hands-on travel and accommodation coordination to support major strategic initiatives (including the CLS Project, Taiwan Logistics Centre expansion, and Rocket Delivery operations) while maintaining service continuity for our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Global Business Travel Coordination (60%)

  • Vendor & Accommodation Management: Act as the primary local point of contact with hotels and travel suppliers across Taiwan (particularly in the Taoyuan region). Conduct local, Mandarin-language communications to build on-the-ground relationships, negotiate long-stay room blocks, and secure competitive rates.
  • Travel & Project Logistics: Source and coordinate accommodations, travel requests, and schedule changes for Korea-based personnel and local team members traveling across Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan in support of major startup initiatives and temporary assignments.
  • Traveler Support & Escalation: Serve as the local escalation point to troubleshoot urgent traveler issues, manage accommodation changes, provide guidance aligned with company Travel Policy, and deliver high-quality traveler support.
  • Cross-Border & Operational Coordination: Collaborate directly with the Seoul-based GBT core team to bridge time zone, language, and market knowledge gaps. Work alongside internal teams (Global Mobility, Immigration, Procurement, Finance, Payroll) and external partners (travel agencies, hotels, airlines).
  • Financial & Administrative Operations: Handle travel-related expense processing, vendor payments, and invoice transactions. Maintain GBT databases, benefit records, lease agreements, and system updates.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify efficiencies in administrative workflows and provide reporting insights to support operational decision-making.

Global Mobility Operations (40%)

  • Case Management & Administration: Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support for day-to-day mobility operations, case management, relocation activities, and assignment administration.
  • Immigration & Compliance Support: Assist with employee immigration processes, work authorization, visa applications/renewals, work permit processing, and compliance-related tracking.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear consultation and communications with internal stakeholders, employees, and managers regarding mobility policies, relocation schedules, and assignment details.
  • Operational Continuity: Maintain high service level standards and operational workflows to support business continuity across Taiwan.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Location & Language: Based in Taipei, Taiwan. Fluent in Mandarin (essential for local vendor negotiations) and proficient in English (for regional stakeholder alignment).
  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in global mobility/immigration, corporate travel management, hotel procurement, hospitality coordination, or HR operations.
  • Vendor Management & Negotiation: Proven negotiation skills and background in managing local accommodation providers and travel suppliers.
  • Operational & Financial Skills: Strong attention to detail with practical experience handling vendor payments, expense tracking, and database/record management.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities to independently prioritize and manage split responsibilities across two active operational functions. High customer-service orientation and quick troubleshooting skills.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Taiwan’s local travel landscape, hospitality market, and business travel logistics.
