Director, Replenishment & Cross Docking (Taiwan)

Position:
In this role you will be responsible for the Taiwan fulfillment replenishment and cross docking, while also ensuring a safe environment with scalable processes and operations.
You will be responsible for all replenishment, cross docking and operations objectives for the entire fulfillment centers. Responsibilities include managing and leading an operation team, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with both stamina and mental quickness to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth Distribution Center. Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff will be essential. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan.
What You Will Do:
- Leading the replenishment and cross docking team.
- Design and implantation of new processes and procedures.
- Drive scalable process improvements.
- Build and manage internal relationships at a senior level, including with Operations and other units.
- Develop and execute action plans for increasing quality, accuracy and service satisfaction.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintain high quality condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field.
- 10+ years of direct operations experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations leading and owning cross-functional programs.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
- Experience with the full staffing life cycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
- Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others.
- Candidates must be flexible to work based on business demands.
