Team Description
By forecasting demand, Determine the optimal inventory to hold, managing supply chains, and inventory turnover prediction, Team should provide customers with an optimal purchasing experience and minimize inventory costs for the company. It is necessary to predict ahead of anyone through a high level of understanding of the category, and strategic inventory level management through data and quick decision-making and execution capabilities should ensure that customers can always buy the goods they need on time from Coupang.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Yearly / monthly / weekly Inventory and in-outbound Planning
• Participate in shaping the InStock Strategy & Goals for each Season & Month, in collaboration with Stakeholders.
• Analysis of out-of-stock and solving systematic problems
• Automate Demand Forest Audit and Forecast accuracy improvements.
• Dive deep and find problem and solving for high Days of Cover Stock Keeping Unit(SKU)s and Aging SKUs
• Ordering to prevent out-of-stock or quick recovery out-of-stock.
• Demand Forecast management.
• Dive deep and improving Out of Stock(OOS) reasons for frequent OOS occurrences.
• Setting the right rules for the ordering system
Essential Qualifications
• 5+work experience in SCM, Demand Planning, and Inventory Planning
• Deep understanding of Inventory/Demand Forecast/Ordering within a Retail Context
• SQL Knowledge Intermediate Level
• Advanced ability to read/write English, Intermediate ability to speak English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+work experience in e-commerce & distribution (e.g. Discount Store, CVS) or global companies.
• Experience with supply chain improvement projects
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP)
• Bilingual preferred
