Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of defining and executing a strategic product roadmap tailored to the Taiwanese market, ensuring that our experience resonate with local consumers. Specifically, you will be part of the Coupang Taiwan Customer Experience Product Management team leading the Fraud & Abuse domain. Working with engineers and data scientists, your goal will be to develop and implement industry leading detection and enforcement measures which eliminate bad actors, while ensuring our regular customers continue to have the best possible shopping experience. The role is essential in ensuring that Taiwan’s everyday consumers can confidently take advantage of the best promotions, pricing and products that Coupang has to offer.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Work backwards from customer problems, business needs and data driven insights, to become a thought leader in the fraud and abuse space, and to translate that into a strategic product roadmap, prioritized by impact and importance.
- Partner and collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders to go deep on problems and translate that into clear and actionable requirements and solutions.
- Expand your expertise in a range of cutting-edge technologies from in-depth product analytics to ML modelling.
- Build and launch solutions to scale beyond Taiwan to Coupang’s other businesses

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field.
- 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent, with a proven track record of developing and scaling innovative products.
- Experience working with and leading globally distributed and cross functional stakeholders
- Ability to combine strategic foresight with a strong execution focus to drive results.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to derive insights, prioritize, drive decision-making and identify new opportunities/defects to solve.
- A proactive approach, with a willingness to delve into details, get your hands dirty and go above and beyond to drive results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
- Prior experience in the e-commerce industry
- Knowledge and/or prior experience in consumer fraud or risk management functions
- Moderate to intermediate proficiency in data analytics and SQL
- Experience in launching consumer-facing products in a fast-paced environment, with a preference for candidates who have worked in start-ups or large tech companies.
