Job Overview:
The Head of Marketing for Coupang Marketplace will be responsible for building and running the Coupang marketing team. S/he will oversee various functions of marketing including seller research, content development, targeted campaign creation with the intent of marketing to prospective sellers wishing to expand their product reach with Coupang Marketplace, delivery and training, marketing operations, marketing planning and execution, creative development, B2B and B2C acquisition initiatives, PR, messaging and positioning, and more.
What You Will Do
- Rapidly expand our seller base and selection
- Accelerate GMV and revenue growth for our marketplace business
- Dive deep to understand sellers’ needs and champion go-to-market and systematic solutions designed to address those needs
- Hire & develop the best marketing team to achieve our goals
- Identify the right input and output metrics to direct our marketing efforts and deliver results
- Instrument activities and marketing initiatives to produce insights that inform high quality business decisions
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to ensure product-market fit, craft the value proposition, messaging, and develop content, training and the strategy for new product or feature launches
- Create and implement demand generation marketing programs across various seller acquisition channels (including but not limited to emails, in-portal nudges, websites, in-portal placements, events and webinars).
- Own internal and external communications for Coupang’s sellers and seller products
- Deliver regular training for internal and external users of seller solutions
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in B2B / B2C marketing, product marketing, and/or consulting.
- At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce
- Strong people leadership and people management experience is required.
- Bilingual in Korean and English.

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
