Role Overview:
Rocket Growth is a Coupang Fulfillment business that enables sellers to offer best-in-class delivery and post purchase experience to customers. With Rocket Growth, sellers’ products get the Jet Delivery badge and are delivered to customers via Coupang’s Rocket delivery network. Rocket Growth is the fastest growing team in Coupang and has an exciting roadmap of products and features in the pipeline. The Rocket Growth's Program Management team delivers critical projects and develops and implements innovative business programs to wow our customers. We maintain a holistic view of the Rocket Growth business, cultivating ideas for new services and offerings and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to bring ideas to life. We touch all areas of the business as projects/program span the spectrum of operations. We are data and delivery obsessed and are never settled with the status quo. As a Senior Principal, Program Manager you will be responsible for initiating, planning, and delivering impactful projects and programs that improve Coupang’s Rocket Growth offerings. You will be responsible for coming up with creative solutions to the most challenging business problems and leveraging your project management expertise to make the difficult look easy. You work closely with and can seamlessly influence executive leaders and product/operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a broad set of key stakeholders to design, launch, and maintain business programs, particularly within partner organizations to maximize growth potential.
- Be a critical part of the goal setting process, designing metrics, sales targets, and developing tracking resources to enable partner teams to achieve business goals.
- Lead resolution of analytical and organizational bottlenecks to achieving business goals.
- Partner with Product and sales organizations to build understanding of the overall eCommerce landscape and drive seller experience improvements.
- Act as a conduit and liaison between Sales Leads and other teams to optimize existing programs and build new programs to quickly address identified readiness gaps.
Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and demonstrated success in project/program management and business management.
- Deep knowledge of and experience in Ecommerce operations.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and logical data-driven thinking.
- Deep-dive and process-driven skillsets.
- Experience in working in a startup environment (quick decision making, fast scale up).
- Ability to collaborate and align strategy with leadership while driving execution efficiency.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and achieve effective results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Ability to balance strategy with strong operational skills.
- Able to understand, deconstruct, streamline and optimize complex business processes.
- Education in technical discipline / MBA preferred.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Excellent communications skills in both Korean and English
