Position: Senior Manager, Fraud Operation

What will you do?

We are seeking a skilled Senior Fraud Operation Manager. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our company against fraudulent activities. Your expertise will be crucial in designing fraud detection rules, reviewing and analyzing fraud detection results, and collaborating with international fraud operation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design fraud operation rules:
    1. Develop, implement, and optimize fraud detection algorithms and rules to identify and prevent fraudulent activities effectively.
    2. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging fraud patterns to continuously enhance the effectiveness of fraud detection systems.
  • Review fraud results ensuring not hurting normal customer experience:
    1. Analyze and assess flagged transactions or activities to determine their legitimacy and potential fraud risks.
    2. Fine-tune fraud detection systems to minimize false positives and avoid unnecessary disruptions to genuine customer transactions.
  • Conduct objective and thorough investigations:
    1. Conduct fair, impartial, and timely investigations into suspected fraudulent activities.
    2. Gather and analyze evidence and data to establish the facts surrounding each case.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 15 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity and persistence in obtaining information and investigating complex fraud cases.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates honesty, ethical conduct, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-centric mindset, ensuring fraud management does not compromise the normal customer experience.
  • Passion for working in startup environments and enjoying the process of establishing new rules and systems.
  • Preferred experience in e-commerce, platform-based businesses, or related industries.
