Role Overview
Coupang's Senior Manager, iOS engineering is expected to have an established background in building high-performing teams developing consumer-facing iOS applications and delivering cross-functional initiatives. You should be somebody who enjoys recruiting and coaching, is customer-centric, and feels strongly about delivering results
What You Will Do
- Partner with product management, product design, data analytics and other engineering leaders to build and deliver the roadmap of iOS team
- Participate in technical design and planning
- Providing guidance for engineers to ensure they execute well
- Build and grow the team via hiring and mentoring
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
- 3+ years of experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Objective-C, Swift
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience with modern cloud computing such as AWS or GCP
- Proven expertise in building consumer-facing native iOS applications
- Accomplished technical leader with strong track of record delivering results at high speed and quality
