Job Overview

FUJI is Coupang’s cross-border shopping service, which guarantees

delivery of goods shipped from China to Korea within three days.

Coupang provides a vast selection of high-quality products at reasonable prices

through this end-to-end fulfilment service. We are scaling FUJI significantly,

with a particular focus on expanding our selection and infrastructure in China.

To drive this expansion, we are seeking a high caliber Product Owner.

The Product Owner, will be responsible for

this cross-border offering and develop the technologies needed to attract, retain

and grow the seller community on our platform. This will include building a

world-class seller-facing platform for the registration/onboarding of new sellers

and the listing of new items, as well defining our strategy for how best to help

those sellers be successful and grow on Coupang. It also includes the systems

that connect the sellers to our internal infrastructure and fulfilment network in

China-Korea.

 

What You Will Do:  

As the Senior Product Manager, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy and success metrics to scale the number of sellers and items on our cross-border shopping platform, and drive a corresponding growth in GMV;
  • Drive alignment with a variety of stakeholders, including sales and marketing executives, operations leaders, and engineering teams, to deliver on the above goals;
  • Prioritize and create a roadmap of projects and initiatives, considering trade-offs and optimizing for Seller and customer experience;
  • Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years product management experience in e-Commerce (e.g. Customer service,

selection, fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, delivery, etc.)

  • Experience and track record of delivering features and products at scale
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to find creative ways to cover come obstacles

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Analytical thinker who works well in a global, fast-paced, data-driven, cross-functional, and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
  • Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get the job done
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others, including executive level reviews
  • Experience working with global product development team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
