Role Overview:

Rocket Growth business enables small and medium suppliers to offer Rocket Delivery (Dawn and Next Day Delivery) to millions of Coupang customers by allowing the suppliers the use of Coupang’s Fulfillment and Delivery Network. With thousands of new suppliers signing up for Rocket on Demand each quarter, it is one of the fastest growing businesses at Coupang. As we get ready to scale this business multi-fold over the next few years, we are looking for a few smart, and driven leaders, who would like to solve tough problems, and make a meaningful impact to the lives of customers and suppliers in one of the biggest e-Commerce markets in the world.

What you will do:

  • Define the supplier acquisition strategy, policy framework, seller communication and product requirements for driving seller acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end process for seller listing, quality control, inventory, and activation to identify scale blockers

  • Drive product innovation through understanding supplier needs and becoming the voice- of-seller to Coupang internal teams. Build a powerful and differentiated value proposition for suppliers and customers

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering teams to build best-in-class tools for inventory forecasting and sell-through

  • Work in collaboration with the sales teams to make suppliers successful by educating them, driving adoption for Coupang systems, and creating value for end-customers

  • Build relationships with the leadership of Sales, Advertising and other internal teams to drive business growth

  • Show keen interest and excellent capabilities in terms of leadership, business analysis and decision making, negotiation, and operation. Set up standards for the metrics required for business operation, with an aim to deliver a world-class shopping experience

  • Hire the best talent and nurture them into future leaders who can develop, launch and run new businesses.

Basic qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience in sales support program, field sales organization and managing a sales enablement/sales operations function

  • Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale cross functionally

  • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail

  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external


  • Ability to be the voice of customer and work with product teams to drive innovation

  • A technical background in an analytical, engineer, computer science field is a plus.

 In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
