Team Description

This team is part of Global Operations Finance team focusing on improving Sales and Operational planning to optimize customer experience and costs. This team will work with Retail Finance, SCM and operations team to drive better planning and capacity orchestration across retail and operations team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning and Validation
  • Review sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast models, and post-mortem results for accuracy
  • Analyze key category business drivers, competitive trends, marketplace dynamics & consumer need gaps that lead to disruptive and breakthrough solutions
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to reconcile significant variances, refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions, and improve forecast accuracy
  • Anticipate obstacles and proactively plan accordingly while effectively elevating issues and strategizing solutions to complex problems that may arise during development
  • Ensure sound decision support
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve performance and accuracy
  • Process Improvement


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or related fields
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience within forecasting, demand planning and/or other relevant analytical experience
  • Experience successfully executing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment preferably a Startup, FMCG or a fast-growing business of an organization
  • Proficient in querying and data visualization.
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce Business and its drivers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master in Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields
  • 10+ years’ experience in FP&A, Strategy, Consulting role
  • Proficient in SQL, MS Excel and Python
  • Experience creating workflows and using automation tools like Airflow
  • Speaks Korean and English fluently
