Role Overview  

Coupang Global team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Catalog operation Specialist for the Coupang Global business. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global selection as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team.  The individual will also work across a matrix organization internally with cross-functional teams as well as external network. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang expand relevant selection that our customers want and drives increased loyalty.


What you will do  


  • Begins everyday Obsessing over Customer Experience. Starts with customer focused objectives and works backwards.  Builds solutions to address and Wow our Customers
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders as well as internal cross-functional teams to own catalog management of global selection
  • Develops marketing ideas and execute marketing activities per merchandising calendar to acquire new customers and ultimately increase customers’ royalty on Coupang’s global selection through utilization of internal/external data on customers and market
  • Assist marketing activities in the team
    • Conducts marketing research to analyze selection trend for global eCom business teams
    • Work with global business teams to identify blockers of as-is marketing process to streamline



Basic Qualifications  

  • Able to speak/read Korean and English at fluent level
  • Proficient in Microsoft (esp. Excel)
  • Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
  • A passionate self-starter, ready to take Coupang’s customer experience to the next level
  • Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment



Preferred Qualifications  

  • 0~2yrs of relevant work experience in business marketing, eCommerce, retail business or global brands
  • Bachelor's degree majored in business, finance, analytical or related majors. (mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, marketing etc.)
  • Experience with SQL or Tableau is a plus
  • Able to use Chinese is a plus

  • In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process.  If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
