Team Description

CE Excellence team is the core of business; we detect problems, develop solutions, and ensure rollouts to make a great customer Journey on Coupang. In CE Excellence team, we enjoy a fast-paced workplace where we can impact the customer experience and be an instrumental part of growth. We have a strong customer focus to CX improvement across different area of business and building strategies. In general, we define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, desired customer experience, vision, and influencing a product roadmap and vision to deliver the best-in-class CX for our customers.

Business Analysts (BA) are shining in various business/operational organizations of Coupang that place importance on data-driven decision-making. Coupang's large-capacity data is transformed into meaningful information through BAs in each organization (marketing, logistics, delivery, compliance, finance, etc.), and through this, insights emerge. The role of BA within CE Excellence is to deal with data related to customer orders, sales, products, returns, profit etc., find the defects and figure out patterns or trends to identify problems. They will also work on defining success metrics for a variety of projects.

Business Analysts(BA)는 데이터 주도 의사 결정이 중요한 쿠팡의 다양한 비즈니스/운영 조직에서 빛을 발합니다. 각 조직(마케팅, 로지스틱스, 배송, 컴플라이언스, 파이낸스 등)에서 쿠팡의 대량 데이터는 BA의 손을 통해 유의미한 정보로 변환되며, 이를 통해 인사이트를 얻습니다. CE Excellence의 BA는 고객 주문, 판매, 상품, 반품, 수익 등과 관련된 데이터를 다루고 결함을 찾아내며 패턴 또는 추세를 파악하여 문제를 발견합니다. 또한 프로젝트의 성공 지표를 정의하고 사용자 친화적인 대시보드를 구축합니다. 


What You Will Do

  • Design, develop and improve automated reports and dashboards to measure performance and support business needs
    자동화 보고서 및 대시보드를 설계, 개발, 개선하여 실적을 측정하고 비즈니스 니즈를 지원합니다. 

  • Pull and leverage data to provide proactive, actionable insights that can identify growth opportunities, increase efficiency, and/or deepen understanding of business
    데이터를 추출 및 활용하여 성장 기회를 파악하고 효율성을 증진시키며 비즈니스를 더 심층적으로 이해할 수 있게 하는 선제적이고 실행 가능한 인사이트를 제공합니다. 

  • Set strategic and measurable goals, define new metrics, and collaborate with other teams to achieve success on cross-team projects
    측정 가능한 전략적 목표를 설정하고 새로운 지표를 정의하며 다른 팀과의 협업을 통해 팀간 프로젝트에서 성공을 달성합니다. 

  • Become a subject matter expert in areas concerning global business or e-commerce (shipping, traffic, search, etc.)
    글로벌 비즈니스 또는 이커머스 관련 영역(배송, 트래픽, 검색 등)에서 담당 전문가로서 역할합니다. 


Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in analytical field
    분석 분야에서 7년 이상의 경험이 있으신 분 

  • Expert level technical skills in SQL, MS Excel, Tableau or other BI tools
    SQL, MS Excel, Tableau 또는 기타 BI 툴에서 전문가 수준의 기술을 보유하신 분 

  • Analytical thinking process and strong business acumen; able to quantify relevant business strategy into measurable metrics
    분석적 사고 처리가 가능하고 날카로운 비즈니스 감각을 갖추고 있으며, 관련 비즈니스 전략을 측정 가능한 지표로 정량화할 수 있는 능력이 있으신 분
  • Effectively and clearly communicate technical insights to broad non-technical audience
    기술적 인사이트를 다양한 비기술 인력에게 효과적이고 명확하게 설명할 수 있는 능력을 보유하신 분 

  • Near native fluency in English and Korean 
    원어민에 가까운 수준으로 한국어 및 영어를 구사하실 수 있는 분


Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in international trade or e-commerce
    국제 무역 또는 이커머스 분야에서의 업무 경험 
  • Advanced degree in statistics, MIS, mathematics, or relevant subject
    통계, MIS, 수학 또는 관련 전공에서 석사 이상의 학위 
  • Experience in Python a plus
    Python 경험 우대
