Nationwide Rocket Delivery service

Coupang plans to invest more than KRW 3 trillion over the next three years until 2026 to provide free rocket delivery service to 50 million people nationwide. Most of the areas where Coupang’s free rocket delivery will be expanded are areas with declining population designated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. This will have a positive impact on employment and revitalizing of the economy in these areas, contributing to balanced regional development.

Volunteer work in the community

Coupang continues to engage in various volunteering activities for the community and neighbors. The representative volunteer club “Yougitapang” regularly volunteers on the first Saturday of every month at a shelter for dogs that were abandoned by their owners or rescued from the risk of euthanasia. We are also taking the lead in sustainable eco-friendly management through the tree-planting activity called “Wow the Forest Campaign.”

Employee donation campaign ‘Counation’

“Counation” is an internal donation campaign that conveys the warm heart of Coupang employees to the underprivileged. Having started as a fundraising activity for children around the world in 2024, Coupang is realizing the values of inclusion and sharing.

Creating a healthy & empowered workforce

We believe that optimal work performance begins with good health and a supportive work environment. Since 2021, we have been pioneering industry-leading health management programs for our employees, both in the field and the office. See below for overviews of our employee-focused programs.

Introduction of related groups

Coupang's employee groups provide personal and professional development opportunities for employees from underrepresented communities.

 

CREW is an affinity group aimed at contributing to Coupang's diversity and inclusivity. CREW's activities can be summarized into — creating a network of women and encouraging women to develop their careers with executive sponsors' support. CREW will continue to expand its reach to a larger audience going forward.

 

IM (Inclusion Management) team was established in May 2020 to adopt responsible work practices and support efforts to improve job opportunities for people with disabilities. The IM team is responsible for hiring, evaluating, educating, and developing these talents to grow their career with Coupang. The IM team helps the business realize its potential with full consideration of diversity. These efforts are integral under our corporate social responsibility (CSR).

 

WIT@Coupang's mission is to create a network of women and supporters to empower women to succeed in the workplace. WIT@Coupang is vested in both personal and professional development of our employees who face growing responsibilities at home and work. With programs focused on sharing information, knowledge, and experience, WIT@Coupang aims to develop more role models for women.

 

As an organization within Coupang, Coupang Ads cultivates innovation through diversity — providing an excellent environment through equity of opportunity and fostering a culture of inclusion to create a trusted and high-performing organization. To this end, we run monthly DE&I campaigns and share these values with our members. We live our DE&I values by listening to our people with an open mind to address blind spots in the organization and ensuring everyone feels included. Our team’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is shared and realized by all members.
