Fulfillment Center(이하 FC)는 쿠팡의 물류센터를 말하는 것으로 상품의 입고, 적재, 포장, 출고를 담당하는 곳입니다. FC는 단순한 물류 창고가 아닌, 첨단 기술이 집약된 하나의 Automation Factory로서, 제조업 생산 공장과 같이 각각의 업무를 전문화하고, 입고부터 출고까지 데이터를 기반으로 시공간을 효율적으로 관리하여 낭비를 최소화 하는 등 최적의 물류 시스템을 구현해 나가고 있습니다.

Control Systems Engineer
Job Overview:
The Control Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems used in various industrial processes. This role involves working with automation systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control technologies to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing or process facilities. The Control Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems, including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems, for industrial processes or manufacturing operations.
- Program, test, and commission control system software and hardware, ensuring all systems meet functional and safety requirements.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure integration of control systems with other components of the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, diagnosing problems with hardware, software, or communication networks.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including system design, configurations, and operating procedures.
- Conduct system testing, calibration, and validation to ensure systems meet regulatory and operational standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize control system performance.
- Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on the use of control systems and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in control systems and automation, implementing best practices where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, automation, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of control system components such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI, sensors, and actuators.
- Proficient in control system programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
- Experience with control system software tools and simulation packages.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently in both hardware and software.
- Familiarity with safety standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, or similar industrial safety standards.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in control systems or automation technologies (e.g., Certified Control Systems Technician – CCST).
- Experience with advanced control strategies like Model Predictive Control (MPC) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, EtherCAT, or OPC.
- Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with process simulation or control system modeling.
